At the August 1, 2025 regular business meeting, the Putnam County Board of Commissioners approved a 180 day moratorium of Code of Ordinances Chapter 18 "Public Nuisance Dwellings, Buildings, or Structures."
Please be advised there have recently been fraudulent emails sent out impersonating Putnam County employees. These particular emails are targeting Planning and Development applicants. Keep in mind any emails from Putnam County employees will only come from an email address ending in @putnamcountyga.us, and we will never ask you to wire funds. If you receive any suspicious emails, please do not reply or open any links or attachments.
