UPDATE:
Effective November 7, 2025 the moratorium on all new rezoning applications south of Highway 16 and west of Highway 441 ended. The moratorium does, however, remain in effect for all new rezoning applications north of Highway 16 and east of Highway 441.
At the September 16, 2025 regular business meeting, the Putnam County Board of Commissioners approved an up to six months moratorium on all new rezoning applications.
Unless extended, moratorium will end by March 16, 2026.

Appointments to all boards, authorities, and commissions shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in Section 2-53 of the Putnam County Code of Ordinances.
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will be replacing the existing bridge (Structure ID 237-0014-0) at County Road (CR) 294/Godfrey Road at Glady Creek in Putnam County, located approximately 3.5 miles northwest of the City of Eatonton.
