Planning and Zoning Coordinator

The Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a Planning and Zoning Coordinator in the Planning and Zoning Department. Qualified applicants should possess a college degree or equivalent experience usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship such as having prior experience with planning and zoning code administration. Qualified applicants must also have sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, such as zoning procedures, policies, county ordinances and regulations.

The successful applicant shall possess knowledge of modern office procedures and computer functions; above average organizational skills; ability to maintain accurate records; prepare reports; operate various office equipment, skill in personal computer software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other pertinent software; skill in oral and written communication.
This is a Full-Time position and compensation will be based on qualifications and the current county pay scale.
