Part-Time Grounds Worker

Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill a part-time position of Grounds Maintenance at the Recreation Department/Jimmy Davis Park. This position requires that the applicant is able to perform maintenance and grounds work within the guidelines of departmental regulations, assist with athletic events and rentals, and help with day to day operations.  Applicant must have knowledge of techniques including mechanical repairs and able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools. Applicant should also possess the familiarity of safety requirements, athletic field rules and regulations, including the proficiency in operating general outside maintenance equipment, and maintaining athletic fields. This position will require flexible working hours of nights and weekends.

Applicants must submit a signed MVR consent form and a copy of their valid driver’s license along with the completed application to Human Resources.
