Golf Services Attendant – Part Time

Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Golf Services Attendant – Part Time.

This position is responsible for helping to provide the customers of Uncle Remus Golf Course a great golf experience. The various responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing the driving range, Clubhouse, and golf carts, scheduling tee times, answering questions from customers, collecting fees and working a cash register, cleaning golf carts, cleaning the Clubhouse, cleaning bathrooms, stocking merchandise, removing litter from the course, emptying trash bins, assisting the Golf Services Manager, Golf Services Assistant, and any other tasks that may be required. This position will necessitate the use of golf carts, range picker, blowers, and various small tools.

Minimum qualifications include a valid Georgia driver’s license, good attitude, great ability to interact with the public, excellent communication skills, and basic computer skills. Applicants must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift at least 25 pounds, and must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Applicants must also be able to work in various outdoor conditions including heat, sun, cold, rain, and wind. The schedule for this position includes weekends and holidays.
