Clerical Technician

The Putnam County Board of Assessors is now accepting applications for the position of Clerical Technician. This position consists of performing basic accounting and clerical tasks and entering data on a computer. The successful applicant should have knowledge of data entry procedures and computer functions; knowledge of the techniques for establishing and maintaining files; knowledge of general bookkeeping practices; skill in operating a data entry terminal with speed and accuracy; skill in operating various office equipment such as a calculator, printer, copier and computer; skill in oral and written communications; skill in mathematical calculations and exceptional skills dealing with the public.

This is a full-time position, and compensation will be based on qualifications, education, experience, and the current pay scale.
