Athletic Coordinator

NOTICE

 Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Athletic Coordinator at the Recreation Department. This position requires that the applicant plans, organizes and implements athletic programs for youth and adults.  Applicant will be required to enforce agency rules and regulations within the guidelines of the department and perform special projects and duties assigned by the Recreation Director.  Applicant should also possess the familiarity of safety requirements and regulations, including the proficiency in operating general outside maintenance equipment. Minimum of a 2-year college degree is recommended.  Applicant must be flexible to work nights and weekends. It is recommended that the applicant have a good understanding of athletics and a willing to learn how to maintain athletic fields. 

 Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, Motor Vehicle Report, drug test, and possess a valid driver license.

 This is a full-time position and compensation will be based on qualifications and the current county pay scale.
