NOTICE

In accordance with Official Code of Georgia Annotated 36-81-5 the following is a summary of the proposed FY2026 Budget for Putnam County, GA as presented to the Putnam County Board of Commissioners July 29, 2025. Copies of the proposed FY2026 Budget are available weekdays at the Putnam County Board of Commissioners Office, 117 Putnam Drive. The proposed budget is also available at www.putnamcountyga.us.

THE FY2026 BUDGET HEARING WILL BE HELD ON AUGUST 19, 2025 AT 6:00 P.M.* IN THE PUTNAM COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, 117 PUTNAM DRIVE, EATONTON, GEORGIA. THE PUTNAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS WILL MEET ON AUGUST 29, 2025 AT 10:00 A.M.* TO ADOPT THE FY2026 BUDGET.

The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to continue the hearing to another time and place in the event the number of people in attendance at the hearing, including the Board of Commissioners, staff, and members of the public exceeds the legal limits. Hearings will be conducted pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-14-1 and Section 2-42 of the Putnam County Code of Ordinances.
