Region Two BHDD Planning Board

The DBHDD Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities & Addictive Diseases Regional Advisory Council represents 33 counties. The purpose of the Region Two Planning Board is to provide and facilitate planning, standards, and procedures for consumers with disabilities. Disability is defined as a mental, emotional, developmental disability or addictive disease.  The main objective of the Advisory Council is to identify community needs and gaps in the current DBHDD service system and to make recommendations based on their findings.

Putnam County Members

Members are appointed by their county commissioners; they are business and civic leaders with a strong interest in mental health, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases as well as consumers or family members of consumers.  The Region 2 Field Office offers orientation to all new members.  In addition, training opportunities are offered twice each year at venues set up and paid for by the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities.

 

Meeting Details

Meetings are held bi-monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the month at varying locations throughout Region 2.
