Residents who live inside the city limits of Eatonton may contact City Hall at (706) 485-3311 for more information on curbside pickup. All residents may utilize one of the convenience centers located throughout Putnam County for recycling/solid waste disposal. Click below for center hours.

Georgia automobile tags must be purchased within 30 days after establishing residency. Automobile tags are issued by the Putnam County Tax Commissioner’s Office at the Putnam County Courthouse located at 100 South Jefferson Avenue, Suite 207, Eatonton, Georgia 31024. Annual ad valorem taxes, normally paid on your birthday, will be phased out for most vehicles in Georgia beginning March 1, 2013. For more information and the new tax calculator, visit the Georgia Department of Revenue website.
