Putnam County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Grounds Maintenance at the Recreation Department. This position requires that the applicant be able to perform maintenance and grounds work within the guidelines of departmental regulations, applicant must have knowledge of techniques including mechanical repairs and be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools. Applicant should also possess the familiarity of safety requirements and athletic field rules and regulations, including the proficiency in operating general outside maintenance equipment. Associate of Applied Science in Environmental Horticulture Technology is a plus.

Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, Motor Vehicle Report, drug test, and possess a valid driver license.

This is a full-time position and compensation will be based on qualifications and the current county pay scale.
