As you know significant rainfall over the past week resulted in very high inflows into Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair causing lake levels to rise.  We sympathize with our many customers and contractors that have had shoreline work projects interrupted by the higher water level. We are working diligently to return Lake Sinclair to the originally scheduled drawdown levels as quickly as possible.  The weekend forecast, however, does not look favorable.  With more rain predicted over the next few days, the inflows could remain high and  further affect the drawdown schedule.  Once the flows subside, the drawdown will resume.
