Animal Services Advisory Board
The Animal Services Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Commissioners on matters relating to the welfare and control of the domesticated animal population within the County. This board meets as needed at the Poole Recreation Center located at 140 Recreation Road in Eatonton, Georgia.

Board of Assessors
It is the duty of the County Board of Tax Assessors to:
- Value Property – assure that all personal property and all real property have been returned for taxation at the proper valuation;
- Examine Returns – examine the returns of real and personal property to determine if property has been omitted from the return or the valuation returned represents the fair market value of the property;
- Correct Returns – correct returns and assess the property at fair market value;
- Send Notices – give written notice to the taxpayer of changes in the return.
The Board of Assessors meets as needed in Suite 109 at the Putnam County Courthouse located at 100 S. Jefferson Avenue in Eatonton, Georgia.

Board of Elections and Registration
The mission of the Putnam County Board of Elections and Registration is to conduct elections in Putnam County in accordance with federal and state laws so that each and every citizen has had a fair, impartial, and efficient opportunity to register and exercise the right to vote; and each candidate for office has had a fair, impartial, and efficient opportunity to qualify for and to seek office. The Board of Elections meets on the first Tuesday of each month in Suite 217 at the Putnam County Courthouse located at 100 S. Jefferson Avenue in Eatonton, Georgia.

Board of Health
The Board of Health sets fees for the County for environmental as well as fees for clinical services. It governs the funds, budgets and any personnel issues for the Health Department. The Board also manages any health issues for Putnam County. The Board of Health meets once each quarter, usually in January, April, June, and October at the Putnam County Health Department – Conference Room located at 117 Putnam Drive in Eatonton, Georgia.

Department of Family & Children Services Board
The Department of Family & Children Services Board is an active liaison to the general public whose continuing support is necessary to the success of the overall mission of the Division. The Board also manages any health issues for Putnam County. The Board meets on the 4th Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 10:30 am at the DFACS Office located at 675 Godfrey Road in Eatonton, Georgia.

Eatonton-Putnam Library Board
The Eatonton-Putnam Library Board discharges duties delegated by the Uncle Remus Regional Library Board of Trustees, sets local practices and policies, approves the County Library Budget and sends a representative to meetings of the Regional Board. The Board meets as needed at the Putnam County Library located at 309 N. Madison Avenue in Eatonton, Georgia.

The Hospital Authority promotes the public health needs of the community and builds and manages all utilities and facilities deemed necessary or convenient for this purpose. The Hospital Authority meets on the 1st Monday of every month in the Conference Room at Putnam General Hospital.

Lake Oconee Area Development Authority
The Lake Oconee Area Development Authority was formed between Putnam and Greene counties in order to take advantage of job tax credits offered by the State as incentives for relocating manufacturers and warehouse facilities to Georgia (see O.C.G.A. §36-62- 5.1). It does have the ability to take on debt and issue revenue bonds. The Lake Oconee Area Development Authority meets on the 1st Monday of the 2nd month of every quarter at The Peoples Bank located at 991 Lake Oconee Parkway in Eatonton, Georgia.

Middle Georgia Rural Human Services Transportation Advisory Committee
In an effort to assist the Middle Georgia Regional Commission Mobility Manager in identifying methods to improve current levels of coordination, increase cost-effectiveness, while maintaining or improving existing levels of service, a Regional Rural and Human Services Transportation (RHST) Advisory Committee was officially created by the Middle Georgia Regional Commission Council at its January 2012 regular meeting. The RHST Advisory Committee is comprised of key stakeholders from around the region who help identify needs and practical solutions for the future coordination of essential public transit services throughout the region. The Committee meets quarterly at Middle Georgia Regional Commission located at 175 Emery Hwy, Suite C in Macon, Georgia.

Oconee Community Service Board
The Oconee Community Service Board is duly organized as a public agency and a public corporation under Sections 31-3-12.1 and 37-2-6(a), of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated to provide behavioral healthcare disability services within the counties of Baldwin, Hancock, Jasper, Putnam, Washington, and Wilkinson, State of Georgia. The Board meets at 1371 Orchard Hill Road in Milledgeville, Georgia every other month on the 4th Wednesday in the months of February, April, June, August and October. The December meeting and location is modified due to the Christmas holidays and is typically held on the 3rd Wednesday.

Oconee River Resource Conservation and Development Council
The Oconee River Resource Conservation and Development Council helps plan and carry out activities that increase conservation of natural resources, support economic development and enhance the environment and standard of living in local communities. The Oconee River Resource Conservation and Development Council meets once per quarter at in room B101 in the Oconee County Government Annex Building located at 1291 Greensboro Highway in Watkinsville, Georgia.

The duties of the Planning & Zoning Commission are to hear and make recommendations on matters to the Board of Commissioners such as: Zoning map amendments, conditional use permits, and text amendments; to hear and make administrative decisions on matters such as building setback variances; and to exercise any other powers and authority delegated to it by the Board of Commissioners, the Development Ordinance, or State law. The commission meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at 6:30pm in Room 203 of the Putnam County Administration Building located at 117 Putnam Drive in Eatonton, Georgia.

The purpose of the Region Two Planning Board is to provide and facilitate planning, standards and procedures for consumers with disabilities. Disability is defined as mental, emotional, developmental disability or addictive disease.
